HOT TAMALE TOES

These socks are knitted of hand-dyed merino in a bright blue-purple-green colourway, with lime-green foliage and hot red peppers along the tops. These socks are knitted in reverse stocking stitch, from the top down, with a garter-stitch short-row heel. The cuff is trimmed with exotic foliage and hot peppers.

Sizes: Eight sizes, for ankles measuring 7 inches to 10 inches.
Yarn: Fingering-weight sock wool, 50g= 160 - 200m (approximately 12 - 15 wraps per inch). The pattern uses 100g Main color, 50g heel and toe contrast color, 25g foliage color, and a small amount of Hot Pepper color.
Techniques: Garter stitch short-row heel, crochet provisional cast-on.
Kit: Merino fingering yarn: 2 x 50g Tropical hand-dyed main color, 50g Heel and Toe contrast color, 25g Foliage color, and 10g Pepper color.
